Conclusion:
The vinegar was very effective in getting rid of the living grass, but the dead grass was still there. I need to go back now and tear all of the dead grass out. Vinegar is great if you are just looking to kill some plants, but it did not get rid of all the grass completely. It was also very good that I made sure there was no plants I was looking to save in the area, because the vinegar killed EVERYTHING. Overall the vinegar did get rid of all the living grass, but it did not get rid of the grass all together, which in the end did not solve my problem effectively. I should have tested another section with just pulling all the grass out to start with since that seems to be what I will have to do with this section anyways.
